Biography

Celia Rivero Santana (1995) is a composer, arranger and orchestrator from Canary Islands, who is currently studying the SFTV Máster (Scoring for Film, Television, and Videogames) at Berklee College of Music (Valencia). She is graduated in the specialty of Music Composition.

She has premiered several chamber and choral music compositions, as well as orchestral arrangements
in emblematic places of Gran Canaria, like Teatro Pérez Galdós or Sala de Cámara del Auditorio Alfredo
Kraus.

In 2017, the `Gran Canaria Big Band ́ selected her composition `Waltz to Jazz ́ from among five candidates, playing it during the concert " Arreglos de Autor IV “.
Sauro Berti, bass clarinetist of the “Teatro dell ́Opera di Roma” has included her composition Rondó
for clarinet in B flat and piano within de framework of the European Clarinet Festival in the city of Porto: ClarMeet.Porto ́17.

In 2018, she gets the Soundtracks Composition and Music for Audiovisual Media Master at the ESMUC (Catalonian Music School) and she recorded two music pieces for orchestra, composed for two different shortmovies, for her end of master project with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra.

She has composed the soundtrack of some shortmovies, like “La Gent Normal” or “Rusty & Brush”, movies produced by an important film school of Cataluña: ESCAC.

She is covering a broad range of musical styles, always trying to search people ́s emotion.
